What is Flood Gate

Quick Dam Flood Gates are portable, reusable steel-and-neoprene barriers designed to instantly seal doorways and prevent floodwater from entering homes or businesses. They expand to fit openings from 25 to 60+ inches without needing tools or permanent modifications. They stand 26 inches high, allowing for step-over access.

Easy Installation: Place in the doorway, expand with the built-in jack, and tighten the neoprene seal.
Sizes: Available in various widths, including 25–30, 30–35, 35–40, 40–45, 45–50, 50–55, and 55–60 inches.

How Flood Gate Work

A single Flood Gate provides superior protection than over 50 sandbags yet it weighs less than one!
A Flood Gate is also a lot easier to store and is completely reusable.

Expand Scissor Jack

Clear the entrance of dirt and debris then place gate in doorway. Place the barrier with its face toward the flood threat and as close as possible to your entrance in a solid reveal. Using the supplied wrench expand the barrier horizontally into the side walls.

Tighten Ground Bolts

Hand tighten each of the 4 downward pressure bolts to compact the sleeve along the ground. Use the wrench to tighten ground bolts by only 1 turn or until cover is compressed sufficiently to create a seal along the floor.

Once Flood Gate is installed correctly it can hold back up to 26 inches of water. The entryway remains accessible while Flood Gate is installed. Flood Gate can be used inside or outside and can be used for doors that open in or out.
